MOR (Mónica Ortiz Rossi) is a Brooklyn-raised Dominican music and movement artist whose work brings together rhythm, dance, voice, and embodied practice. She is the founder and creative lead of Sanctuario, an Afro-Latin music and dance ensemble rooted in Dominican, Haitian, and wider Afro-diasporic traditions.

Drawing on more than two decades of work across dance, yoga, public health, and performance, MOR creates experiences that invite people to move, listen, and reconnect: with their bodies, with one another, and with the cultural memory carried through music.

Her work has taken shape in theaters, universities, schools, community spaces, and wellness settings in New York and beyond.
